Dr. Damevski is the founder of the Smiles for Autism campaign. This annual event provides everyone the opportunity to have their teeth whitened for a minimum $200 donation to the Center For Autism at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. This minimum donation is a fraction of the typical cost of a whitening treatment. One-hundred percent of you donation is given to The Center For Autism at CHOP.

The program runs through the month of April which is National Autism Awareness Month and National Smile Month. Donations must be made during the month of April, but donors may get their teeth whitened at any time.

Since its inception the Smiles for Autism campaign has raised over $100,000 and counting which in the past has helped support the development of new initiatives at the Regional Autism Center of CHOP. "Each year, our staff and Philadelphia-area citizens have come together to contribute their time and money to this important cause," said Dr. Damevski. "We look forward to continuing this campaign for many years." Dr. Damevski was inspired to start the program when his son Nicholas was diagnosed with autism.
